This show. Bunheads. If Emily Gilmore grew up in California instead of Connecticut, you’d get Fanny. But fine, whatever. Kelly Bishop is amazing at playing that character, so let her do it.  I like the kids, too. Especially the short blonde because she’s adorable. But it’s obvious the show is going to focus mostly on the Rory lookalike, Sasha. That’s okay. At least her personality is completely different from Rory’s. The thing I can’t stand…is the main character. It’s not Sutton Foster’s fault. She’s doing a great job playing Lorelai Gilmore. Sure, Michelle and Lorelai have different pasts, different issues. But the dialogue. Every time Michelle speaks I think, “You are not Lorelai Gilmore!” If I’d never seen Gilmore Girls, I would love this show. But I watched seven seasons of Gilmore, more than once, and I’m just not sure I need to watch more of it.
